POLESTAR TO IMPLEMENT TECHNIQUE DATA COLLECTION SOLUTIONS AT SHEFFIELD

The Polestar Group has announced an order to put an advanced Shop Floor Data Collection System supplied by Technique Business Systems into the new Sheffield site.  

The solutions consist of standard Data Collection systems from Technique to monitor the Cerutti Gravure presses, Ferag Unidrum stitching / inserting lines and Polywrapping machines. The presses will also be equipped with Technique’s reel-stand solution to monitor the 3.8m wide paper reels from preparation through to splice . Effective web browser based dashboards will be available to key staff anywhere in the Group to see real-time performance of the equipment at Sheffield.
