support Scarborough Rugby Club

Pindar, the multi-national
printing company based in
Scarborough, and The Technique
Group, who provide software and
services to the print industry
based in Leeds, have joined
forces to invest in the local
community through their exciting
support of Scarborough Rugby
Club, the Yorkshire division two
champions and hot favourites for
division one in the coming
season. Their innovative
sponsorship of the Club, in
particular focussing on support
of grass-roots level sport,
paves the way for the future of
rugby in the region.
Pindar and Technique’s
sponsorship has allowed funding
of a Youth Development Officer
to work in the local area as
well as the improvement of local
facilities. The RFU-trained
officer works closely with local
schools and colleges to
encourage grass-roots level
rugby in the area, and get more
young people out on the pitch.
With more young talent coming
through, in addition to plans
for new grounds to be unveiled
soon, the club has an exciting
future ahead.
